Certificates Policy
1. Attendance certificate
Mashrooh issues the attendance certificate automatically when you:
- pass the final exam; or
- complete every session of a course that has no exam.
It shows your name, the course, the trainer, the hours, the sessions, your score and the dates.
2. Verified certificate
Some training centres choose a verified certificate for their courses, which the centre issues through the official body:
- After you pass, we ask you once for each certificate for your national ID or Iqama number and your English name as written on the ID.
- Only that centre receives them. The Mashrooh platform does not store them on your profile: they are kept encrypted until the centre receives them, then erased at once, and after 30 days at the latest. See the Privacy Policy.
- The certificate is usually ready within 5 working days after the ID reaches the centre that gave the course.
3. Your name
The English name on your profile is printed on your certificates, so check it before you finish the course.
4. Checking a certificate
An attendance certificate is checked through the barcode (QR code) on it, which opens the check page on the Mashrooh website showing whether the certificate is genuine, the trainee's name, the course, the provider and the date of issue.
Verified certificates from training centres are checked on the Manar platform or the platform that issued them. Contact the training centre for more information.
5. Withdrawal
A certificate obtained by fraud, for example when someone else sat the exam, may be withdrawn. No certificate is issued for a refunded course.
