Live Video and Interruption Policy
1. Joining
- Live sessions take place in the Mashrooh video room at the time shown on the course. The trainer opens the room, and enrolled trainees join from the session screen. A session cannot start before its time.
- You need a good internet connection, and camera and microphone permission if you want to speak or appear. Problems with your own connection or device are your responsibility, and you can watch the recording later.
2. Recording
- Sessions and consultations may be recorded. Mashrooh keeps the recordings always, unless a recording is deleted for poor quality under this section.
- Recordings are available to the trainer or centre, the enrolled trainees (and both parties of a consultation), and Mashrooh, which uses them to review complaints.
- Nobody may record a session by other means or publish a recording outside the Mashrooh platform.
- After every session the trainer (not affiliated to a centre) or the centre is reminded to check the recording's quality. They may delete it within 3 days for poor sound or picture, or any reason, and upload a replacement within 7 days; otherwise the session counts as not delivered and the rules of section 5 apply. The admin receives the same reminder with the full video and may delete it at any time.
3. Attendance and completion
Your attendance is recorded automatically when you join. A live session counts as complete when you attend it, or later watch 85% of its recording.
4. If the trainer is late
- If the trainer is more than 20 minutes late for a course session, they must reschedule it under section 5. The trainees, the centre and the admin are told automatically, and the trainer must set a new time within 7 days.
- In a private consultation, if the trainer has not joined 10 minutes after the start, you can take the automatic refund. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
5. Interruptions and cancellations
- Technical failure of Mashrooh or the video service: the trainer reschedules the missed part within 7 days, and the recording of what was held stays available, unless the admin deleted the video.
- A session ends early: a session counts as delivered only if at least 80% of its planned time took place; otherwise the trainer reschedules the rest within 7 days.
- The trainer cancels: the trainer gives at least 24 hours' notice and proposes a new time within 3 days, and the trainees are told in the app. The trainer (not affiliated) or the centre sends their message to the trainees from the app, and a copy reaches the Mashrooh team.
- Not rescheduled in time: you can file a "Session late or cancelled" complaint. Mashrooh decides the refund percentage and method, deducted from the share of the provider or training body.
- The course cannot be completed: the 20-day rule of the Refund and Cancellation Policy applies.
6. Conduct in sessions
Be respectful, keep your microphone muted unless you are speaking, and do not share inappropriate content. The trainer may remove anyone who disrupts the session, and Mashrooh may review the recording.
